Social Media

There's something invigorating about creating a post for social media from scratch and watching how it resonates with the audience (or completely flops - a valuable learning experience!) I am proficient in marketing on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and familiar with TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

 

Here are a few samples of different types of social media posts, goals, and results I've crafted in the last few years for a combined follower audience of 50k+.

Instagram Reel - storytelling

Goal: to create an emotional journey and demonstrate the value of the work performed by the company.

Work I Did: edited video clips/images together with text captions, added popular Reels audio, wrote copy, posted to Instagram.

Results: one of the highest performing Reels to-date, accruing 19k views (majority non-followers) and record engagement numbers.

YouTube Video - EVP

Goal: to feature a compelling short form video on YouTube channel that communicates the employee value proposition to potential job candidates.

Work I Did: created 1.5 minute long video using stock video template and stock music, wrote copy, posted to YouTube.

Results: became a staple at conferences & events to attract attendees to booth.

Facebook Post - internal focus

Goal: to align internal communications about mental health (an organization goal) across multiple channels.

Work I Did: created 7 graphics based off of information from licensed Social Worker, wrote copy, posted to 25+ Facebook pages.

Results: generated engagement increase and reinforced company's commitment to mental health initiatives.

Facebook/Instagram - cross-channel campaign

Goal: to boost clinical study enrollment for the cancer research non-profit leg of the company as part of a 6-month multi-channel campaign.

Work I Did: assisted with creating graphics, wrote copy, posted to 25+ Facebook & Instagram pages, tracked data and reported results to executive team.

Results: generated more awareness and increased enrollment in studies by filling up trials within a few months.

Facebook Post - industry focus

Goal: to highlight an important industry-specific challenge, empower current employees, and attract potential job candidates.

Work I Did: created 10 graphics based off of employee testimonials, wrote copy, posted to 25+ Facebook pages.

Results: received excellent feedback from employees across the country and special praise from executive team.

Instagram Reel - education & negative review mediation

Goal: to gently educate audience on a misconception frequently mentioned in negative online reviews and advocate for employees.

Work I Did: curated/directed video clips, edited clips/images together with text captions, wrote copy, posted to Instagram, Facebook, & YouTube Shorts.

Results: decrease in online reviews mentioning this issue, positive online feedback from other industry professionals, became "talk of the town" at our hospitals.

Facebook/Instagram Series - engagement

Goal: to humanize the brand and build a strong, ongoing online relationship with past, current, and future clients through fun weekly post.

Work I Did: initiated the idea of ongoing"X-Ray Friday" series and created template so it could be easily replicated, posted to 25+ Facebook pages & Instragram stories consistently every week for 2+ years.

Results: became a staple to our content calendars, increased engagement across all pages, formed an online community of fans.
